Explore my journey in engineering. Discover my capstone project, reflections, and learn more about my academic background and professional aspirations.

My Engineering Journey

I am currently in my final year of Mechanical Engineering and will complete my degree in April 2026. My interest in engineering began with a love for aviation. As a kid, I wanted to be a pilot, but over time I became more interested in the mechanical side of the industry.

A big part of that interest grew in high school, where I had a great physics teacher who helped strengthen my passion for physics and problem-solving. Since then, I have come to enjoy mechanical engineering not because of one specific subject, but because of the way it teaches you to think. I like figuring out how things work and how they can work better.

Through my degree, I have developed strong skills in problem-solving, teamwork, coding, design, CAD modeling, and communication. My goal is to become an effective and efficient engineer, especially in industrial applications where I can continue learning and improving.

About Me

I would describe myself as honest, hardworking, adventurous, and outgoing. I am someone who can get along with almost anyone, and I value curiosity and helping others.

Outside of engineering, I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, reading, and woodworking and most importantly, hanging out with my dog. I also enjoy working with my hands and learning how mechanical systems function by taking them apart and putting them back together.

My curiosity and interpersonal skills are two of my biggest strengths. They help me both as a person and as an engineer, and I try to bring a confident but friendly attitude into everything I do.
